El Tapatio Restaurant in Sioux City

My husband and I love to eat here and have had too many meals to count. Everything is so fresh. My favorite is the enchiladas verde but I’ve enjoyed lots of other menu items. Their margaritas are great too. They have many flavors and it hits the spot on a warm day. The staff and the owner are so friendly and attentive. For me, that matters almost as much as the taste of the food.

Well they messed up my nachos and I was very specific,because it was a take out order got it back to work a few blocks away and super mushy chips so I called and they said they'd make it right that it was their mistake so ok got it remade went and got it and still messed it up boooooooooooo. But I'm sure I'll go back

Great margaritas. They're huge. Had the fajita nachos which were great. Also ordered the ceviche. Great if you're really craving it. I think it should be an appetizer. I didn't really like having to pay $12 for it, but that's just me. Other than that it was great tasting and paired well with the "hot" salsa, which you have to ask for. It's entirely different from the house salsa.

Hands down the best Mexican restaurant! They have the best margaritas, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming.

We've gone here for quite some time. Ordered for pickup today.... Got a side of onions and cilantro. Unfortunately, it was barely enough for one taco.

El Tapatio Restaurant is a outstanding place to get great Mexican food. They have a great menu loaded with Mexican dishes. The service is great and the wait staff is very friendly. They are practicing social distancing but your able to dine in. I will highly recommend stopping at El Tapatio the next time your hungry for some awesome Mexican food!

Love having date night here! Can't go wrong with anything on the menu. And best margaritas in town. Especially when you can get a fish bowl size margarita. Great prices. And also great place for lunch. Surprisingly fast for lunch.

Try the house specials, very tasty

Food was pretty good. They have an excellent cheese sauce. We were in a big group. So the tickets were by families. My family's ticket was forgot. So we had to wait a long time for food, everyone else was pretty much done by the time we got ours. They apologized, but I feel we should of got a discount or something like that.

My dinner at El Tapatio was good and reasonably priced. I ordered the flautas, which had a nice fried shell with chicken inside, and were complimented by the sour cream and guacamole. The accompanying rice and beans were fine, and the margarita was generous.

My husband and I ordered take-out for the first time from El Tapatio today and I can tell you it won't be the last! The food was finished right on time, piping hot, and delicious. We wanted to try a little of everything - enchiladas, flautas, tamales, and chips and salsa. Everything tasted great and their prices are super reasonable. We are already talking about what to try next time we need some take-out!

One of the best new Mexican restaurants in Sioux City. Very efficient staff and service along with great food. They easily handled our party of 20 on a Friday evening with a packed restaurant.
